How far is the CBD from Macquarie Waters?

Macquarie Waters is just a short stroll, approximately 300 metres, from the town centre. We are very close to Port Central Shopping Centre which includes an IGA supermarket, Baker’s Delight, newsagent and many other shops. The hotel is located on Clarence Street which is also known as ‘Eat Street’.

How far is the beach from Macquarie Waters?

Macquarie Waters is located 800 metres from one of Port Macquarie’s most popular beaches, Town Beach. Along the next 7 km you will find another 7 beautiful beaches.

Do I have a view from my room?

Macquarie Waters is located 1 block back from the Hastings River. We have a variety of rooms available with water views from the balcony as well as rooms overlooking the pool and town area. Water view rooms are located on the 4th and 5th floors.

When does the Dive in theatre play?

Our Dive in theatre plays movies during the warmer months of spring and summer on request. Throughout school holidays we play movies on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings, subject to warm weather.  Guests are invited to choose a movie from our large selection at reception. These DVD movies are also available for guests to watch in their apartments. Please note: hotel rooms & small hotel rooms do not have DVD players.

What happens if I arrive after reception is closed?

Reception is open until 7pm on weeknights and 4pm on weekends and public holidays. If you are arriving after these hours your keys will be available from our onsite restaurant, The Corner (up until 9pm) or thereafter in our late arrival safe located near the entrance to the hotel. For Sunday late arrivals, keys will be placed in this safe. Please contact reception on (02) 6584 5755 to advise your estimated time of arrival.

What is the difference between a Hotel Room and a Small Hotel Room?

Our Small Hotel Rooms do not feature an additional chair, a desk or may have an accessible friendly bathroom.

Can I have an early check-in or late departure?

You may request an early check-in with reception staff and where possible we will try to accommodate your request. You are welcome to park your car, store your luggage and relax in the foyer, by the pool or in the restaurant until your room is ready. Late departures of up to two hours are provided free of charge, subject to availability. This must be requested directly with reception staff prior to departure.

Will my room be serviced during my stay?

Small Hotel Rooms and Hotel Rooms are serviced daily by our excellent housekeeping team. Apartments receive a mid-stay service for stays of five days or longer.

Is the pool heated, what temperature?

The outdoor swimming pool located on Level 1 is heated to 28 degrees. Our property also features a spa on Level 1 heated to 34 degrees and a hot tub on Level 6 heated to 38 degrees.

Is linen provided?

All linen is provided including pool towels that can be collected from reception during your stay.

What is the height of the car park?

We have undercover, secure car parking available for all guests and the height restriction for the car park is 2.2 metres high.

Is there a mini bar in my room?

Our rooms do not include a mini bar, however our onsite restaurant, The Corner offers room service from 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 3pm Sundays. The room service delivery is complimentary.
