They also serve a wide range of boutique beers, fine wines and spirits.

The Stunned Mullet

Located just a stroll from Macquarie Waters overlooking beautiful Town Beach with a spectacular vista north to Point Plomer, The Stunned Mullet is Port Macquarie’s quintessential dining experience.  Established in 2005, the restaurant holds a coveted Chef’s hat, as well as being featured in Gourmet Traveller’s Wine list of the Year publication.  We can highly recommend this restaurant for the quality, atmosphere and the owner Lou’s extensive knowledge of wine.

Mi Casa Tapas House

Located a few blocks from Macquarie Waters, at the town green end of Horton Street, Mi Casa Tapas House has its roots as a Spanish Restaurant. Using quality olive oil and wines, as well as the famous and local Riccardoes Tomatoes to create their dishes, like gazpachos, salads and croquettes. Their handcrafted and tasty Paella has always been a popular favourite with locals, as well as the staff here at Macquarie Waters. Our tip, the tapas style entrees are amazing but save room for the paella!

Town Green Inn is located a few blocks from the hotel at the end of Horton Street. Located right near the wharf of the beautiful Hastings River where it meets the ocean and overlooks Port Macquarie’s iconic Town Green area. They also cater to children and TGs is a great relaxed dining choice for families, without compromising on quality.

Bonny Hills Garden Café

Nestled within Bonny Hills Garden Centre on Ocean Drive Bonny Hills, this humble hidden café is well worth the drive. Head there for a coffee and cake or to enjoy their amazing breakfast and lunch menus. Our tip is make sure to book, as it may be small and unassuming but locals absolutely flock here and Sunday brekky is always bustling.

Glasshouse Thai

A block and a half from Macquarie Waters, and opposite our iconic Glasshouse is Glasshouse Thai. There are a number of Thai restaurants around Port Macquarie but this is our pick for a high quality dine-in Thai experience. The meals are fresh and delicious and the Pad Thai is outstanding. They do lunch, dinner, and also take-away if you want to bring your meal back to the hotel.
