At Macquarie Waters we are ensuring that our staff, guests and local community are safe in this challenging time.
Our doors are open and we are looking forward to welcoming you.
Please note that our reception hours have changed to:
Monday – Friday: 10am until 2pm
Saturday – Sunday: 10am until 1pm
If you are arriving outside of these hours please let reception know.
We are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, and we are doing everything we can to ensure our staff and building remains safe and healthy.
We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in our rooms and apartments as well as our public areas, and additional measures have been put into place to ensure these levels are met.
Due to the current rapid and wide spread of the COVID-19 virus, to best protect our staff and your health and safety, there will be a series of CHANGES in place at Macquarie Waters.
All of our apartments are self-contained with kitchen and laundry facilities, including washing machine and dryer. During the current crisis, to maximise the protection to our guests and staff, we have immediately cancelled all housekeeping services to reduce unnecessary personal contact, including any in-room cleaning during your stay. You may still request guest amenities & linen from the reception team during the reception hours.
We are preparing a list of our local dining outlets that will be offering takeaway and delivery services, this list will be delivered to your room upon completion or located at reception. At reception there will be a pink folder with the printed copies of menus that we have been able to collect as well. Furthermore, if you have access to Facebook we recommend connecting to the group ‘Port Macquarie EaTs’ as they are daily adding cafes and restaurants who are still open and offering food and beverage.
Due to high infection risk imposed by COVID-19, and the tightening rules imposed by the Government, our reception staff will be reduced to a minimal level. As a result, please be patient with the team as they attend to all guests needs and requests, before, during and after your stay, we thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
As per instructions received from the Government Health Department and our local council, all common area facilities, including our level 1 Pool, Spa & BBQ areas and our Level 6 Hot-tub & Rooftop are closed immediately and until further notice.
If you have been or returned from overseas in the past 14 days, or have any or all symptoms of the flu or COVID-19, please call reception immediately to discuss your booking.
We are here for you, if you need to change, postpone or cancel your reservation at Macquarie Waters that is due to arrive before June 2020, please call or email our team who are more than happy to help you.
